In mid-1987, Larry received an offer from a magazine and moved to New York City - a place he had always wanted to live. Last Metro continued for a number of years as a 4-piece and then a 3-piece after that.

While living in the Upper West Side of NYC from 1987 to early 1989 Larry spent most his free time (when he wasn't travelling to the west coast and through Canada) writing and recording music performing with friends Susan Wilson (aka
Susan
Said), Jeff James and Eric Brown.

In the Spring of 1989 he packed his guitar and, with his girlfriend (now wife) Janine, spent 3 months travelling Europe. When he returned to the U.S., Larry bought a jeep and they moved to San Francisco. While there he recorded some original compositions with Antonia Venezia. This foray only lasted until early

1990 when, homesick for the East Coast, he accepted a job offer back in New York City.

Back in New York, Larry hooked up musically with an old friend, Bill Feehely. Together they wrote and recorded more than 35 songs. Their partnership consisted of two chapters.
