LIVING IN KOSOVO
Sweet little soda pop outside the Dairy Queen
Eyeliner tears flowing down her pretty face
Daddy took her credit cards, took away her brand new car
And now she's gotta find another place
So she pulls out her cellular phone
Calls the only friend she knows is home and cries
I do believe I'm gonna die
Sometimes it feels like I'm living in Kosovo
I try so hard but they never let go
Sometimes it feels like I'm living in Kosovo
Sometimes it feels like I'm living in Kosovo
Charlie's got this big time job, hangs out at the country club
Throws money around like he's an important man
Boss said Charlie something's wrong
You've gotta work late until the problem's gone
Now Charlie's gotta make a change of plans
So he pulls out his digital phone
Calls his wife and says he won't be home and cries
I do believe I'm gonna die
So while you're sitting in your brand new home
Just remember that you're not alone and then
THink of those lucky just to be alive
When you cry
