Bill Feehely and Larry Hornung began writing songs together in 1990, after Larry returned to New York City from San Francisco. Their first writing efforts resulted in the band, The Ranchers. Feehely-Hornung is a compilation of music Bill and Larry wrote and recorded just prior to and while living in Nashville, Tennessee.
While in NYC they recorded with Leslie Campos (fiddle), Mark DuFault (lead guitar) and Pat Nash (Bass). Bill handled the vocals and Larry guitars, bass and percussion. In Nashville, they received help from Anthony Crawford (guitar, pedal steel), Chris Carmichael (fiddle) and Carey Phillips (vocals). |
